Peace Out Skincare is looking to help those with acne-prone or compromised skin stay moisturized.

The brand is introducing its new Repairing Moisturizer, which was specifically designed for acne-prone and compromised skin.

“Moisturizers have always been a challenge for acne sufferers, because people believe that dry skin means less oil therefore less acne. It’s actually the opposite—acneic skin needs moisture too,” Peace Out founder and CEO, Enrico Frezza, said. “People are going to be surprised by how effective  it is on compromised skin barriers like sensitive or acneic skin which allows all skin types to benefit from this moisturizer.”

The San Francisco-based company said that the product is formulated to calm and soothe redness, the product also looks to boost the skin barrier and lock in optimal moisture levels.

Free of alcohol, featured ingredients in the moisturizer include bakuchiol to refine the look and texture of pores, squalene for hydration, rosehip oil to support the look of healthy and hydrated skin, a ceramide complex that soothes the skin’s natural barrier and seals in moisture and coq10.

Peace Out Skincare’s Repairing Moisturizer will be available on PeaceOutSkincare.com and Sephora for the suggested retail price of $28.
