Perricone MD’s Hypoallergenic Clean Correction line caters to sensitive skin needs

Perricone MD is releasing a collection of products that caters to those with the most sensitive skin.

The Hypoallergenic Clean Correction collection is formulated with a three-tier approach that soothes, protects and corrects skin, and contains a gentle but effective formula, the company said.

Inspired by the brand’s three-tier philosophy, the collection’s foundational pillars include:

• Stress Reduction: To soothe irritated skin with such plant-derived adaptogens as holy basil and mushroom extract;
• Skin Barrier Protection: To reinforce and support the skin while also shielding it against environmental aggressors with ceramides and niacinamide; and
• Age Defiance: For visibly smooth, firm and even skin tone with advanced peptides and plant-derived retinol bakuchiol.

The full line of products in the collection includes:

• Gentle Cleanser: A low-foaming wash that removes dirt and oil without drying the skin. Made with holy basil, glycerin and fermented rice water, it also soothes and nourishes skin for added hydration;
• Barrier Repair Nourishing Moisturizer: Made to be restorative and hydrating to protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier, it also reduces redness while helping improve elasticity and firmness. Formulated with mushroom extract, ceramides and peptides, it also nourishes skin and aids in softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles; and
• Firming and Brightening Eye Cream: Designed to soothe, hydrate and comfort sensitive skin around the eye area, it contains mushroom extract, squalene and peptides to firm and brighten while also helping reduce crow’s feet, lines and wrinkles.
