Physicians Formula, Weylie Hoang launch limited-edition palette
Physicians Formula is collaborating with beauty and lifestyle guru Weylie Hoang.
The beauty brand unveiled the limited-edition Butter Collection x Weylie Hoang palette, which contains the Butter Bronzer, Butter Blush and Butter Highlighter for a California-inspired glow.
“Weylie's natural, cheery, and sunny style epitomizes Physicians Formula's Butter franchise,” said Alice Chen, vice president of marketing at Physicians Formula. “It was effortless working with her. Not only does she have an amazing eye for broad, wearable shades, but her bubbly personality had us all laughing through the entire process.”
In addition, the palette also features two shades of the Murumuru Butter Bronzer, as well as two Butter Blush shades, two Butter Highlighter shades and are formulated with a blend of Murumuru butter, cupuaçu butter and tucuma butter, the company said.
“I'm a long-time fan of Physicians Formula and have been using the Butter Bronzer and Butter Highlighter to create beautiful day and night looks,” Weylie Hoang said. “It was a dream to partner with them on this exclusive palette; I know my fans will love the warm and radiant shades as much as I do!”
Hoang and Physicians Formula also partnered with Best Friends Animal Society to support its efforts in running no-kill sanctuaries for companion animals as well as building programs that reduce the number of animals entering shelters.
“This collaboration combines two of my biggest passions — makeup and animals. The Butter Collection x Weylie Hoang palette currently is available at Target, Shopper’s Drug Mart and the Physicians Formula website and carries a suggested retail price of $14.99.
