Pipcorn intros baked twist to cheesy snacks
Pipcorn has found a way to transform a childhood cheesy snack with Heirloom Crunchies, the brand’s baked version of crunchy, twisty and cheesy treats.
Available in cheddar, cheddar jalapeno and parmesan truffle, Heirloom Crunchies are made with sustainable heirloom corn and organic cheese, the company said.
“The beginning of a new decade uncharacteristically brought about a need for nostalgia,” Jeff Martin, co-founder of Pipcorn, said. “We’ve wanted to release a line like this since we launched our cult-favorite Cheese Balls. It reminds us of the memories we had eating cheesy snacks, but had stopped eating due to their artificial additives and substandard ingredients. We are excited to bring back the memory with a better-for-you twist.”
The Non-GMO Project Verified snacks will be available in parmesan truffle and cheddar jalapeno exclusively at Whole Foods Market, while cheddar will be available exclusively at Thrive Market for the suggested retail price of $3.99 each.
