Remodel underway at Schnucks Union, Mo., location
Schnuck Markets shared that a remodel has commenced on the Schnucks Union, Mo., store located at 401 Central Ave.
Highlights of the remodel will include:
- New seafood department
- Totally renovated deli
- Bakery department enhancements that will allow for an expanded assortment of fresh Schnucks donuts as well as ice cream cakes
- Addition of self-checkouts
- Addition of curbside pickup through Instacart

“My team and I are excited to show our customers the finished product, but in the meantime, we ask that shoppers ‘pardon our dust’ as we work to bring them a more complete grocery shopping experience,” said store manager Pam Janssen. “With this remodel, we’ll be able to offer our customers more services and options, while continuing to be the ‘Friendliest Store in Town.’”

The remodel is expected to be completed later this spring. Schnucks acquired the 33,000-sq.-ft. Union location in October 2022. The store employs 44 teammates.
