Revlon, Kiss make waves at the 2023 Met Gala

Kiss Lashes and Revlon worked with celebrity makeup artists to create looks for Ashley Graham and Rachel Brosnahan.

At the 2023 Met Gala, celebrities donned the theme of celebrating “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” in multiple ways.

Yes, it was all about fashion, but several beauty brands made their mark at the event with celebrity collaborations that channeled several eras.

Kiss Lashes worked with celebrity makeup artist Lisa Aharon, who worked with “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star Rachel Brosnahan. Kiss and Revlon worked with celebrity makeup artists Ivan Nunez, who worked with model Ashley Graham.

Aharon used the Kiss Lash Couture The Muses collection in Supreme to create Brosnahan's look for a '90s-inspired look.

“To help accentuate the dark eye look, I used Kiss Lash Couture The Muses Collection in Supreme” because I wanted Rachel’s lashes to feel elegant and effortless against the more intense eyeshadow. The Muses Style Supreme worked flawlessly with a soft layered pattern to complement the look,” said Lisa Aharon

For Ashley Graham’s look, Ivan Nunez worked with Kiss and Revlon to create a classic look inspired by the ‘90s as well.

He used Kiss Lash Couture The Muses Collection in Noblesse, as well as several Revlon products including the Illuminance Skin-Caring Foundation, Colorstay Awaken 5-in-1 Concealer, Colorstay Bold Lip Liner and Powder Blush Pinkognito among other products.

“I wanted to give Ashley a classic lash, heavily inspired by the '90s iconic models like Linda Yasmeen, and Claudia, They always looked like they had on wispy, fluttry and sexy lashes,” said Ivan Nunez. “Inspired by her pink satin and black velvet gown, I decided to give her a classic 90’s glam, matte skin, flushed rosy blush, matte smokey eyes, and a beautiful matte lip. A timeless and beautiful look for the Met Gala.”

Kiss and Revlon products used at the 2023 Met Gala are available for purchase online.
