Rihanna’s Fenty Skin makes waves

Rihanna shook up the beauty world when she launched Fenty Beauty back in 2017, and now the singer is looking to take the skin care world by storm.

Fenty Skin, which will be available on July 31, is Rihanna’s formal entry into the growing skin care category.

The gender-neutral skin care line first made waves with a campaign that featured the Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Lil Nas X, Tommy Genesis and Halima Aden.

Designed with the idea to make finding a new skin care routine easy, the line is launching with three products that contain 2-in-1 multitasking benefits — the Fenty Skin Start’rs, according to the brand’s social media.

The first product to be used as part of the Start’rs family is the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, which retails for $25. A 2-in-1 cleanser and makeup remover, it looks to remove oil, dirt and pollution without stripping skin or drying it out, as well as purify pores and fight shine.

Featuring an oil-free and noncomedogenic formula, the Total Cleans’r is made with Barbados cherry, Ginkgo Biloba, green tea, fig and quince.

Next up is the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner + Serum, which retails for $28. The serum targets pores, aims to improve the look of dark spots, as well as brighten and smooth the skin while also fighting shine.

Containing an alcohol-free formula that does not strip the skin or dry it out, it can easily be applied onto the skin, cutting out the use of cotton pads.

Ingredients found in the serum include niacinamide, Barbados cherry, Australian lemon myrtle and witch hazel, Japanese raisin tree, green tea, and fig.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer + SPF. Retailing for $35, it functions as both a sunscreen and moisturizer looks to brighten skin while also reducing the look of pores, and has broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection.

Tinted pink, the cream applies invisibly onto the skin, can be applied with makeup, boosts and brightens skin, looks to make pores, fine lines and wrinkles less visible over time, and is coral-free friendly.

Made without the use of oxybenzone or octinoxate, the product contains Kalahari melon, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, aloe, and baobab.

Fenty Skin’s Start’rs will be available for purchase on July 31 at fentyskin.com.
