RxBar debuts chocolate raspberry flavor

There’s a new addition to the RxBar family.

The Chicago-based company unveiled its new chocolate raspberry bar, which contains such ingredients as egg whites, dates and nuts.

In addition, the bar will be available in a limited-edition Valentine’s Day packaging at select Whole Foods Market stores and on the company’s website.

“Nothing says Valentine's Day like chocolate-covered berries,” Jim Murray, the president of RxBar said. “With the new chocolate raspberry RxBar, we're giving fans a better-for-you way to indulge, whether it's for someone special or to treat themselves.”

Made with chocolate and raspberries, the bar is also available in a variety pack that features such flavors as chocolate sea salt and chocolate cherry.
