Schick Intuition, Molly Burke partner on inclusive content initiative

Schick Intuition is looking to create inclusive content with accessibility in mind to support the needs of individuals who are blind or have low vision across all of its social platforms.

To do this, the brand is partnering with Molly Burke, a digital content creator and disability rights advocate on its “Content for All,” initiative.

Burke worked alongside Schick Intuition to co-create a digital content series that spreads awareness about the steps that can be taken to ensure that whatever content is put out can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone.

New enhancements to the personal care brand’s social content now include alt text with a brief description that will accompany all static images, as a way for those who are blind or have low vision to better understand the content.

Other enhancements include CamelCase, with the beginning of each word or hashtag capitalized, captioning and narration and for stories there will be captions placed over the images, and careful font choice that will be simple and classic in order to ensure the best readability, the company said.
