Selena Gomez is adding ice cream connoisseur to her long list of career achievements.

The singer, who also is delving into the world of beauty, announced the launch of a brand new ice cream flavor that was created in partnership with Serendipity.

In addition to creating this brand-new ice cream flavor, Gomez also is becoming an investor in Serendipity, the company said.

Cookies and Cream Remix — inspired by Gomez’s upcoming single “Ice Cream,” with BlackPink — is made with pink vanilla ice cream, cookie bites and swirling gobs of gooey fudge.

“Growing up and loving the iconic Serendipity restaurant, I couldn't be more excited to become a partner in their expanding brand,” Selena Gomez said. “For the Cookies and Cream Remix, I wanted to put my own personal spin on this classic flavor by making it with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to my girls BlackPink and celebrate our new song ‘Ice Cream.’”

Those who want to get their hands on Cookies and Cream Remix will be able to do so beginning Aug. 28 for a suggested retail price of $5.99 at supermarkets, convenience stores and other food retailers across the country.

Selena Gomez is the perfect partner and flavor engineer for Serendipity Brands,” Sal Pesce, president and COO of Serendipity Brands said. “As a forever fan of our brand, Selena brings a fresh perspective and a whole new set of fans to help us take over the decadent ice cream category with our innovative, indulgent mixes.”
