Sigma Beauty’s New Mod collection caters to modern beauty lovers
Sigma Beauty is catering to the modern beauty lover with a new collection of cosmetics.
The New Mod collection, which features lipsticks and an eyeshadow palette and brush set, is designed to give beauty enthusiasts the tools needed to become trendsetters, the company said.
“New Mod is a collection that capitalizes on Sigma’s fan-favorite New Mod liquid lipstick,” said Dr. Simone Xavier, co-founder and chief creative officer of Sigma Beauty. “Similar to previous collections inspired by beloved products, like our best selling Cor-de-Rosa Blush Palette, we continue to expand our most universal colors into full collections.”

Inspired by the brand’s Mod Liquid Lipstick color, the collection’s lip product contains a doe-foot applicator that provides users with the right amount of nude mauve pigment in a single swipe. In addition, its formula has a smooth and satin-matte finish that locks in moisture and provides an all-day color payoff.
The Mod Eyeshadow Palette, which features 14 matte, shimmer and metallic shades that come in buildable and silky-smooth formulas, is designed to be universally flattering with a variety of shades and finishes that compliment every undertone, according to the brand. Also included with the palette is a dual-ended brush and mirror for touchups on the go.
The Modern Glam Brush Set consists of five makeup brushes with a glittery soft pink finish packaged inside a matching beauty bag. Made with SigmaTech synthetic fibers for a soft feel and luxe finish, the tools are designed for all-around use and contain waterproof technology, the company said.

“New Mod is the perfect mauve hue and it is guaranteed to look absolutely gorgeous on any skin tone, regardless of undertone,” Xavier said. “This versatility inspired the creation of a universal mauve palette carefully curated to include perfect matte and shimmer shades to allow full looks from the lightest to the darkest skin tones. We made sure we include transition shades, highlighting shades, crease and lid shades that would be universally flattering. The result is a very inclusive and universal color story.”
