Silk’s Almondmilk Mix-Ins put a twist on traditional yogurt

Silk is looking to put a new twist on the way most people snack on yogurt.

New to the Broomfield, Colo.-based company’s portfolio are Almondmilk Mix-Ins Yogurt Alternatives, which do not contain dairy, soy, gluten, artificial flavors, or high fructose corn syrup and are Non-GMO Project Verified.

“Silk is committed to providing its consumers with plant-based options for snacking on the go by expanding our dairy-free yogurt options,” Joshua Cook, brand manager of plant-based yogurt for Silk, said. “Silk Almondmilk Mix-Ins Yogurt Alternatives are yet another way to easily swap plant-based options into your family’s diet without sacrificing great flavor.”

Featuring 5 to 6 g of plant-powered protein, flavors include:

  • Apple Cinnamon, which contains dried apple pieces, cinnamon granola and a vanilla yogurt alternative;
  • Coconut Chocolate, which is a coconut-flavored yogurt alternative that has almond pieces, toasted coconut and small squares of dark chocolate;
  • Maple Chocolate Banana, which contains bananas, granola, maple almond slices, dark chocolate chips in a vanilla yogurt alternative; and
  • Mixed Berry Chia Granola, which has flax and chia seed granola that is mixed in a mixed berry yogurt alternative.

Those interested in picking up Silk’s Almondmilk Mix-Ins Yogurt Alternatives can do so at retailers nationwide where they retail for $2.29 each.
