Skittles Shriekers scream early Halloween arrival

Skittles is getting in on the Halloween fun a little early this year.

The Mars Wrigley brand announced the launch of its new Skittles Shriekers.

Hidden inside each pack are sour candies that appear to look like the rest, but pack an extra punch of sour, the company said.

“Skittles is always looking for new ways to surprise fans with unexpected flavor experiences,” Tanya Berman, Mars Wrigley seasonal marketing lead said. “This year we focused on putting a new spin on a spooky treat, bringing better moments and more smiles to people as they gear up for the upcoming Halloween season.”

Flavors available in the packs include citrus scream, ghoulish green apple, rattled raspberry, shocking lime and spine-tingling tangerine.

Consumers can find the limited-edition Skittles Shriekers at retailers nationwide in various sizes.
