Stella Artois welcomes summer with seasonal lager

Gisselle

As temperatures rise, consumers are sure to be on the hunt for the next cool beverage they can sip from the comfort of their homes.

Enter Stella Artois with its first-ever seasonal drink — Solstice Lager. Inspired by the longest and sunniest day of the year, the beverage was created to be enjoyed under the summer sun, the company said.

Created with a balance of citrus essences and triple filtered for a smooth finish, Solstice Lager features a malty sweet and zesty citrus note, contains a 4.5% ABV and just 105 calories per bottle.

“We are very excited for people — both in Phoenix and across the country — to try what's soon to be their new favorite beer of summer,” Lara Krug, VP of marketing at Stella Artois said. “Stella Artois Solstice Lager delivers a little taste of sunshine in a bottle, turning any summertime moment into a special celebration, at a time where summer might not look like the usual.”

Consumers will be able to find Stella Artois Solstice Lager on shelves beginning June 8 in 6-pack and 12-pack bottles.
