Tommy’s Superfoods is looking to put a new spin on frozen vegetables.

The San Francisco-based company unveiled two new innovations — Asian Fusion and Cauliflower & Purple Sweet Potatoes — that fall in line with its philosophy of “Beyond Better for You All,” the brand said.

In addition, each of the new launches are made with whole vegetables that are minimally processed and seasoned with a mix of seasoning blends and herbs, and also are certified vegan, non-GMO and low sodium.

Ingredients found in the Asian Fusion blend include non-GMO tamari that’s seasoned with a hand-crafted Asian five-spice blend that includes sesame seeds. On the other hand, the Cauliflower & Purple Sweet Potatoes option pairs together four vegetables and features a BBQ seasoning blend, the company said.

“There are a lot of choices at the grocery store for consumers looking to eat healthier by following a plant-based diet,” Doug Carlson, CEO of Tommy’s Superfoods, said. “But not all plant-based foods are healthy choices and some can even be considered ultra-processed foods. Tommy’s is committed to providing consumers with the pinnacle of health by using whole vegetables, that are flash-frozen to maintain maximum nutrients, freshness and seal in texture and flavor.” Tommy’s unique, and sometimes unconventional blends of spices and herbs, are customized to enhance the taste and variety of veggies in each product.

Consumers can find the two new launches from Tommy’s Superfoods, as well its nine other products, at retailers nationwide.
