Those who are being awarded Tylenol’s Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant have been announced.
Created in sponsorship with the Women’s Sports Foundation, or WSF, the grant aims to help break down barriers to care that can prevent injured athletes from reaching their full potential.
The 10 women athletes who have been selected for the grant will receive $10,000 to supplement the financial burden caused by medical bills and injury rehabilitation, the company shared.
“With this funding in sponsorship with the Women’s Sports Foundation, 10 athletes will be able to better focus on their physical and mental recovery to get back on the field and continue their dreams of athletic success without financial stress,” said Jen Gow, head of US pain at Kenvue. “Tylenol has longstanding equity as the #1 doctor recommended brand of pain relief and recognizes that pursuing greatness hurts.”
