Upsher-Smith is introducing fluphenazine hydrochloride tablets in 1 mg, 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg strengths.
Fluphenazine hydrochloride is the generic of E.R. Squibb & Sons’ Prolixin, which has been discontinued, Upsher-Smith noted.
The medication is used to treat symptoms of schizophrenia.
