Vaseline is partnering with Academy Award-winning actress Regina King on COVID-19 relief efforts.

Together, the two are looking to provide tools and resources to Black and Latinx communities, bring awareness to the systemic disparities these communities face, and information on how to access quality health care and resources.

To launch these efforts, Vaseline is holding an intimate and candid roundtable conversation with Regina King, as well as brand partners Caroline Robinson and Paloma Izquierdo-Hernandez, the CEO of Urban Health Plan.

King also will engage through her own social media accounts via an awareness video on Instagram that discusses how COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted black and brown communities, the company said.

In addition, the video also will encourage these communities on being safe, protecting themselves and helping those in need through resourced provided by another of Vaseline’s partners — Direct Relief.

As a way to give immediate assistance to the Black and Latinx communities affected by COVID-19, Vaseline donated $1 million to Direct Relief’s efforts, which helps these individuals get the testing and care they need, as well as providing PPE to healthcare workers on the frontlines.
