Voss Water has donated 690,408 bottles of water to support front-line workers in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Distributed to multiple organizations, the company sent 480,000 bottles directly to New York via the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. The water was given specifically to medical first responders who have been on the front line of the pandemic, the company said.

“Water is essential to life, but what’s become clear during this global pandemic is just how essential our front-line workers are to everyone’s survival,” Glenn Hartman, CEO of the Americas at Voss, said. “These courageous people are putting everything on the line for us, and Voss is honored to make sure they are properly hydrated.”

Other organizations on the receiving end of Voss’ donations include Parenthood Together, which will receive more than 2,000 bottles of water for its Feeding Heroes initiative, and World Central Kitchen, which will be provided with more than 4,000 bottles for its first responders café at Hudson Yards.

In addition, Voss is inviting a network of influencers, athletes, musicians and celebrities to select a hospital, organization or charity of choice to be provided with nearly 205,000 bottles of water.

Consumers in need can request a Clean Care Package from the brand, which contains 24 bottles of water and hand sanitizer. It can be obtained by sending a direct message to @VossWorld on Instagram. Three requests per day will be fulfilled for 30 days.

“We believe that any brand that has the means to help with the pandemic relief efforts has an obligation to do so, not just for themselves but for their consumers,” Hartman said. "That is why it was so important that we do our part.
