    DEERFIELD, Ill. — Healthcare Clinic at select Walgreens, located at more than 400 Walgreens stores nationwide, and iTriage, a rapidly growing consumer healthcare technology company, on Wednesday announced the launch of a nationwide mobile appointment scheduling app. The expanded free mobile service, previously piloted in Denver and Chicago, is now available to patients in Healthcare Clinic at select Walgreens markets across the U.S.

    HAMILTON, N.J. — Dr Pepper Snapple Group will distribute a growing line of all-natural, antioxidant-infused beverages, the maker of the beverages said Tuesday.

    Bai Brands, which makes the Bai 5 line, said the two companies had been working together for the last two years in select markets around the country and will now expand their partnership in most major markets.

The chain is promoting the new concept with a special event on Tuesday featuring Eddie Funkhouser, creator of the eponymous cosmetic brand.

  • Walgreens supports Red Cross efforts in the Philippines with $100,000 donation

    DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross in response to the devastating Typhoon Haiyan, also known as Typhoon Yolanda, that swept through the Philippines last week. These funds will be used to distribute relief items, repair and rebuild shelters, provide health care and give access to clean water and sanitation systems for those impacted by the storm.
