June has arrived, and that means the beauty team at DSN has been hard at work looking for several new products to highlight.

This month, we’re highlighting everything, that includes everything from hair care to acne care, oral care and even some press-on nails, because everyone deserves a fresh manicure.

Wakati is a new hair care line from Kao USA that has been designed for those with natural hair textures.

Formulated to help provide moisture that allows for easy detanglin, the line also aims to soften coarse tresses and reduce shedding.

The line’s four products include the Water-Activated Advanced Conditioner, Sulfate-Free Shampoo, Oil-Infused Cream and Re-Activating Conditioning Mist.

Currently, Wakati’s hair care products have rolled out at Target, Target.com, Walgreens, Walgreens.com and Rite Aid.


Bio-Oil Skincare Oil Natural is a natural version of its stretch mark and scar treatment oil.

Created to match the performance of its predecessor, this new formulation has been clinically designed to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks, as well as help uneven skin tone, aging and dehydrated skin, according to the company.

Featuring a formula that includes natural plant oils, specialist oils, vitamins, plant extracts, essential oils, anti-inflammatory and antioxidants, the product also is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types.

Available in a variety of sizes, it currently is sold wherever the brand’s products are stocked.

imPress nails

ImPress has not one, but two new innovations in the world of press-on manicures.

First, the brand is rolling out its New Generation Manicure, a trendy and fashionable product that requires no glue in the application process and features PureFit Technology for a slim and comfortable fit. It is sold in a wider range of nail shapes and lengths. It has a suggested retail price of $8.99 and is sold on the imPress website, as well as at Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Ulta Beauty, Target and Rite Aid.

The second new launch from the brand is the Color Polish-Free Mani, which is available in 24 shades. Available in solid colors with no bling or accents, these also feature a slim and comfortable fit, alongside a super-hold adhesive for long-lasting wear. Retailing for $6.99, the product is sold on the imPress website, as well as at Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Ulta Beauty and Rite Aid.

My Magic Mud is taking care of smiles with its new Silver Charcoal + Coconut Oil Whitening Toothpaste.

Featuring plaque fighting nano-silver, the paste contains activated charcoal that does not leave behind a mess, is safe for the enamel and comes in a natural foaming formula that aims to cleanse and freshen, according to the company.

Made without the use of fluoride, sulfates, glycerin or gluten, the toothpaste is vegan, cruelty-free and retails for $9.95 at mymagicmud.com.

Lastly, PanOxyl is rolling out not one, but three new innovations that are sure to help those with acne-prone skin.

The Overnight Spot Patches look to eliminate blemishes by absorbing pus and fluids for a faster healing time. Featuring a latex-free design, the hydrocolloid patches are safe for all skin types, reduce the risk of scarring and retail for $8.75 at Walgreens, Amazon.com and CVS Pharmacy.

Next up is the Oil Control Moisturizer, which absorbs excess oil, looks to lock in hydration, leaves behind a matte finish and contains broad-spectrum SPF 30 mineral sunscreen. Formulated to not clog pores, it also has hyaluronic acid and antioxidants and retails for $13.99 at Amazon.com.

The brand's Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Wash looks to kill acne-causing bacteria, clear existing acne, prevent future breakouts and keep pores from becoming clogged. Also containing humectants and emollients to combat dryness, the wash is pH-balanced and retails for between $9.48 and $13.49.
