Mane Choice Launches Boosting Kit
The kit, now in Walgreens, includes four products that contain a high concentration of strengthening, hydrating and restorative ingredients to help rejuvenate severely dehydrated, weak and shedding hair, while delivering dry scalp relief. The items in the kit are Reconstructor Treatment, Rehydration Therapy, Scalp Renewal and Anti-Shedding Remedy. The Mane Choice Boosting Kit is meant to be used when the hair and scalp need an extra boost. The company said consumers should think of it as an “antibiotic” for their hair regimen, to improve the integrity of the hair and scalp. The products contain silk amino acid, keratin, sea kelp, and feverfew herb, among other ingredients.

The two products are free of parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, propylene glycol, DEA, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic colors and dyes SoCozy said.

Henkel’s Schwarzkopf Adds Products
Henkel’s Schwarzkopf brand is adding to its line of Gliss Hair Repair products, bringing its proprietary Bonding Plex technology to consumers’ homes. Gliss Fiber Therapy is aimed at building long-lasting resilience and protection for hair against future damage. The product’s liquid hair components reconstruct the hair and revive its quality, the company said.

The Bonding Plex technology also will be found in the new GlissKeratin Color line, combatting damage and reducing hair breakage for nourished, protected hair and intense color results in a variety of shades from blonde
to black.

Also from Henkel, Schwarzkopf’s trend-styling brand göt2b will venture into hair color. The new göt2b colors, lighteners, color and pastel sprays offer such options as intense red and pastel turquoise in an ombré style or colorful highlights in permanent, semi-permanent or wash-out. Also new, got2b will offer a series of dry shampoos, allowing users to refresh their hair. The company said the dry shampoos leave intensive fragrances, not grey streaks, and provide a way to update one’s style when short on time.
