12/10/2014

NEENAH, Wis. — Menasha Packaging’s Lakeville, Minn., facility has been certified by British Retail Consortium Global Standards, a leading global safety and quality certification program. The facility achieved “A” grade certification for the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.

“BRC Global Standards certification provides Menasha Packaging customers greater confidence in our safety and quality procedures and shows that we are committed to excellence,” said Robin Darveaux, Menasha Packaging’s Lakeville Group quality management specialist. “Lakeville’s BRC certification also brings the facility in line with other Menasha Packaging facilities, so that we are all working to the same industry-leading standard.”

In addition to Lakeville, Menasha Packaging’s Neenah, Wis.; Hartford, Wis.; and Yukon, Pa., facilities are certified by the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials. The company’s Midwest Fulfillment Center, also located in Neenah, holds a BRC Global Standard Certificate for Storage and Distribution. BRC Global Standard audits also are planned for additional Menasha Packaging facilities around the country.

The BRC Global Standards are highly regarded and widely used by suppliers and retailers worldwide since they aid in standardizing quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers’ fulfillment of legal obligations. Its Packaging and Packaging Materials standard also is a Global Food Safety Initiative recognized scheme.
