  • Mars announces candies for fall, Halloween

    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — A new line of candies from Mars Chocolate North America includes several flavors to coincide with Halloween.

    The candy maker announced the release of its latest line, which includes Snickers peanut butter pumpkin-based singles, as well as jack-o-lantern-shaped Snickers-brand pumpkin, available in two packs. The company is also releasing a new large variety bag of Snickers Fun Size canned, available in Snickers Original, Almond and Peanut Butter Squared bars.

    PURCHASE, N.Y. — PepsiCo division Aquafina is launching a new line of sparkling water beverages and flavorings in an effort to target teenagers, the company said.

    Aquafina said the zero-calorie products would meet teenagers' desire for refreshing beverages and parents' need for healthy products for their families.

    BOSTON — Boston Beer’s Angry Orchard Cider Co., the top-selling cider company in the United States, according to IRI data, has introduced a new innovative fall and winter seasonal cider — Angry Orchard Cinnful Apple. Cinnful Apple, a limited-edition release, is Angry Orchard’s first cider made with American culinary apples.

    NEW YORK — Booginhead has introduced a way for parents who make their own baby food to conveniently carry and store it.

    Booginhead's Squeez'Ems are reusable food pouches for pureed and blended food, designed to be easy to fill, clean and store, and ideal for such foods as yogurt, applesauce and homemade baby food.

    The pouches, which come with a resealable screw top, are free of BPA, PVC and phthalate and cost $7.99 per duo pack.

     

  • Yankee Candle introduces Thanksgiving fragrances

     SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. — Yankee Candle Co. has introduced its collection of scented, Thanksgiving-themed candles, the company said Monday.

    Yankee announced the launch of the Thanksgiving Dinner Collection, which includes such fragrances as Turkey with Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce and Sweet Potato Pie. For each candle sold, $1 will be donated to the USO. The donations will take place between Sept. 30 and Oct. 31, and will support the USO's Holiday Box program for military personnel stationed overseas.

  • Gevalia introduces Keurig K-Cup cafe-style beverages

    GLENVIEW, Ill. — Earlier this month, and just in time for National Coffee Day on Sept. 29, Gevalia introduced new single-serve cafe-style beverages made with the Keurig K-Cup brewer.

    The Gevalia cafe-style beverages are all made from real milk and can be prepared with the existing Keurig brewers in the home without the need of a special espresso machine or having to venture out to a local coffee shop.
