    PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Hasbro has brought its Twister game into the 21st century with help from pop icon Britney Spears.

  • Safeway, Kraft food bank program yields almost 362,000 bags of groceries

    PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway and Kraft Foods on Thursday announced that their Help Us End Hunger (Every Bag Counts) food drive yielded nearly 362,000 bags of groceries for food banks and other hunger-relief centers throughout the United States.

    In addition to helping provide products for the food drive, Kraft Foods donated $420,000 to local food banks in Safeway's U.S. operating divisions.

  • Sabra expands Garden Variety hummus line

    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Sabra has added Southwest and Tuscan Herb hummus flavors to its portfolio.

    The flavors are part of the brand's Garden Variety line, the company said. Southwest hummus features corn, black beans and jalapeño peppers, while the Tuscan Herb combines red peppers, tomatoes, carrots and spinach with Sabra's smooth hummus.

    The new products will first appear on shelves in February and will be rolled out nationwide in coming months.

    LOS ANGELES — Pacific Shore Holdings has introduced its latest energy product.

    The Juice by Energy-X builds on the company's Energy-X brand with a one-of-a-kind energy mix can be added to almost any beverage. The product touts zero calories, no carbohydrates, is sugar-free, and is fortified with 70 mg of caffeine and nearly a full daily dose of vitamins B12, B6 and B3 (niacin) per serving, Pacific Shore Holdings said.

  • Walmart, Redbox renew agreement

    OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. — Redbox, a division of Coinstar, announced Tuesday it has renewed its agreement with Walmart to continue featuring Redbox kiosks at more than 3,700 Walmart locations nationwide.

    The agreement extends the availability of Redbox kiosks and builds upon the companies' more than 5-year relationship, said Redbox.

    The first Redbox kiosks were installed in Walmart stores in 2006.
