  • Chobani to break ground on second manufacturing plant

    NORWICH, N.Y. — Chobani is forging ahead with its strategic growth initiative by opening a second domestic manufacturing plant.

    The company said it plans to invest over $100 million to build a state-of-the-art, high capacity production facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. The company said it expects its planned investment to garner more than $200 million in regional sales.

    Chobani's current South Edmeston, N.Y.-based manufacturing plant, which will be expanded, will not be impacted by the decision to open a second facility, the company noted.

    PLANO, Texas — Dr Pepper Snapple Group is targeting its new Dr Pepper TEN diet carbonated beverage to men. The company’s consumer research showed that men between the ages of 25 years and 34 years are not satisfied with the taste or the image of diet sodas, but they want to make healthier beverage choices.


    Dr Pepper TEN is out to change that. The beverage is a full-flavored carbonated soft drink, but contains only ten calories. With its gunmetal gray color scheme, industrial rivets and bold font, the packaging reads “masculine.”


  • Case-Mate introduces new iPhone case

    ATLANTA — Case-Mate is touting an "ultra-protective tough case" for the iPhone.

    The product, called Tank, is a dual layer case that features a hard, impact-resistant exterior and a shock-absorbing interior. Tank also features a retractable screen that shields a phone from impacts, cracking and condensation.

  • New 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' adventure released by Walt Disney Studios

    LOS ANGELES — Walt Disney Studios has expanded its lineup of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" videos.

    Designed for children ages 2 to 5 years, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Space Adventure" a 45-minute, space-themed film starring the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gang: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Daisy.

    "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Space Adventure" is available on a two-disc combo pack (which includes a DVD and digital copy) for the suggested retail price of $19.99.

  • 'In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds' arriving on Blu-ray, DVD this winter

    LOS ANGELES — 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is bringing the sequel of an action/adventure franchise to Blu-ray and DVD this December.

    Starring Dolph Lundgren, "In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds" tells the story of a former Special Forces soldier that is transported back in time to an age of sorcery, dragons and savage hand-to-hand combat. Both the Blu-ray and DVD feature bonus material, including a behind-the-scenes look at the film, commentaries from the director and writer and more.

    LOS ANGELES — Marley Coffee has launched 8-oz. bags of its gourmet ground coffee that will hit retail this season.

    The lineup of Marley Coffee includes Mystic Morning, Lively Up espresso blend, One Love single origin Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Simmer Down (organic Swiss Water decaf), Buffalo Soldier and the Get Up Stand Up breakfast blend.

    The Marley Coffee line will be certified organic and retail for $9.99 per 8-oz. bag.
