    NEW YORK — Catalina Marketing has joined the growing world of online coupons with the development of its Coupon Network by Catalina, which promises to offer shoppers unique savings and coupons.

    Brands with current offers on the site — located at CouponNetwork.com — include Nestlé, Kellogg, Fisher-Price and Johnson & Johnson.

  • Weaver touts first-ever microwave popcorn made with olive oil

    NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The first microwave popcorn made with olive oil has hit retail.

    Weaver's Weaver Gold line comes in movie theater butter and parmesan with Italian herbs and garlic flavors. Each flavor provides the health benefits of olive oil, the company said. The company also is slated to introduce light butter and classic butter flavors.

    New Weaver Gold microwave popcorn made with olive oil now is available at mass market retailers nationwide and online at Amazon.com.

  • Campbell Soup appoints VP corporate development

    CAMDEN, N.J. — A former Walmart VP has joined Campbell Soup as its VP corporate development.

    In this new role, Raymond Liguori will be responsible for Campbell's efforts in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures. He will report to Craig Owens, Campbell's CFO and chief administrative officer.

  • Fresh Step 'scoops' out odor

    NEW YORK — Kitty litter brand Fresh Step has introduced a new product that combines natural pine shavings with the odor-control performance of activated carbon.

    New Fresh Step Natural Scoop litter offers such great odor control ingredients as Fresh Step's traditional clay-based litter, but this time with the sustainability benefits of natural wood, the company said. The new product, Fresh Step said, also weighs significantly less than the company's clay-based litter — available in a 20-lb. box — in a bag that weighs 3.3 lbs.

  • Izze adds watermelon flavor to sparkling juices lineup

    BOULDER, Colo. — Izze has expanded its line of 50-calorie sparkling juices, the company announced Tuesday.

    New low-calorie Izzue Esque sparkling watermelon flavor hit store shelves this month. With the new flavor, the Izze Esque lineup now features four flavors, including sparkling black raspberry, sparkling limon and sparkling mandarin.

    Izze Esque is available nationwide in Whole Foods Market, as well as in select grocery stores, for a suggested retail price of $1.39 to $1.69 per bottle or $4.99 to $5.49 per four-pack.

  • Evian extends Live Young campaign

    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Evian has brought back its Live Young campaign with a new commercial and an interactive user experience.

    The water brand said that its Baby Inside commercial will feature portraits of people wearing Evian's Baby Inside T-shirts, which are edited together in a flipbook-style commercial. Additionally, an interactive, user-generated version of the commercial will be released online at LetsBabyDance.evian.com and via an iPhone application, where users can become actors in the video.
