CeraVe’s skin care product line is expanding with not one, but two new products that cater to specific skin concerns.

The first new launch from the brand is the Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser, which is an oil-based cleanser for those with dry to very dry skin that aims to remove dirt, oil and makeup from the skin’s surface with a gentle and foaming formula.

Made with ingredients like squalene oil, triglyceride and hyaluronic acid, it contains three essential ceramides that help replenish moisture for softer and smoother skin, the company said.

On the other hand, the Acne Foaming Cream Wash features the highest concentration of benzoyl peroxide available without a prescription.

Clinically tested to treat and help prevent acne pimples and blackheads on the face and body, the wash is formulated with a patent-pending formula that combines 10% benzoyl peroxide, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and three essential ceramides to cleanse without disrupting the skin’s barrier.

The three essential ceramides found in CeraVe products include 1, 3 and 6-11 to ensure skin moisture is kept in and irritants out while also maintaining the skin barrier, the company said.
