Chi, Barbie partner on hairstyling tools

Chi is joining forces with the iconic Barbie fashion doll brand on a new line of hairstyling tools.

The Chi x Barbie Malibu Barbie 50th Anniversary Collection celebrates Malibu Barbie, who debuted back in 1971.

Inspired by the original doll, the collection features irons that have bright and retro designs, the companies said.

Products in the collection include:

• Chi x Barbie Malibu 1-in. Titanium Hairstyling Iron, which retails for $99.99, and features titanium plates that provide a smooth glide and even heat distribution for styling; and
• Chi x Barbie Malibu Triple Barrell Deep Waver, which retails for $89.99, was designed to create deep and continuous waves via its titanium barrels that provide even heat distribution and lockout any humidity.
