The Council for Responsible Nutrition is kicking off a new podcast, "Supplement Source."

Hosted by CRN's vice president of communications, Jeff (“J.D.”) Ventura, the podcast will provide a comprehensive look into the dietary supplement and functional food industry, featuring a wide range of topics and expert guests.

"Supplement Source" will initially be released monthly, offering listeners insights from CRN's staff and special guests from CRN's membership and beyond. Each episode aims to educate, inform and inspire those involved in the dietary supplement and functional food sector, the trade group said.

"We are thrilled to introduce 'Supplement Source' as a new platform to engage with our industry stakeholders and share valuable information about the industry," Ventura said. "Our goal is to create a resource that is informative, accessible and fun, which features discussions with some of the most engaging personalities in our industry on the latest trends, regulatory updates and scientific advancements."

The inaugural episode, launching on June 24, will feature special in-studio guest Tony Talalay, CEO and co-founder of Brassica Protection Products. Talalay will join Ventura to discuss the importance of innovation and quality in dietary supplements.

Listeners can access "Supplement Source" on SoundCloud, as well as download episodes directly from CRN's website at www.crnusa.org/podcast.
