Dove intros 0% aluminum deodorant sticks, sprays

Dove is unveiling 0% Aluminum Deodorant Sticks in four scents: Shea Butter, Rose Petals, Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena and Lavender & Vanilla. In addition, the aluminum-free lineup offers dry spray formulations, which include Cucumber & Green Tea, Rose Petals, Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena, Lavender & Vanilla, Coconut & Pink Jasmine and Shea Butter scents.

Calling attention to the fact that underarm skin is just as delicate and sensitive as the skin on your face and that it’s also extra prone to irritation thanks to shaving and daily damage from rubbing against itself, Dove added, "Baking soda is a common ingredient in natural and aluminum-free deodorants, and while it does have odor-fighting properties, its abrasive texture is known to cause redness, dryness and irritation."
