Function of Beauty’s Pro line arrives at Sephora

Function of Beauty has a new hair care range that is debuting on Sephora shelves—Function of Beauty Pro.

The company said that the professionally tested line is designed to take hair care customization to the next level via a naturally derived and bond-building formula that can be designed to hair type, hair goals and damage levels.

Debuting this month at 300 Sephora stores across the nation and online, the collection’s products contain unique active ingredients per hair type that are developed to aid in combating damage caused to hair bonds from coloring, hear, styling and mechanical damage.

Powered by Adaptive f3 Bonding Complex, a patented and natural-derived complex that is obtained with bio-technology, it self-adjusts to each hair’s unique damage level to aid in relinking broken hair bonds only where the hair needs it.

“We’re excited to partner with Sephora and be the first brand to introduce haircare customization to the prestige channel,” said Alexandra Papazian, chief executive officer of Function of Beauty. “Sephora is a premiere destination for beauty and we're excited to launch a high-quality, highly innovative customized hair care range to address everyone’s unique hair needs.”

The complete Function of Beauty Pro collection features four collections based on four hair types—straight, wavy, curly and coily—and contains sulfate-free custom recovery shampoo and a 2-in-1 custom recovery conditioner mask.

Products can be further customized by users choosing up to three hair goal concentrates from a full range of nine, which are curated to help address specific hair needs.

The stylist-inspired collection features frizz-taming, curl-defining, volumizing and shine-enhancing options, while the colorist-inspired and scalp collections feature brass toning, and color protection, as well as scalp balancing, scalp hydrating and moisture boosting.
