Kiwi Botanicals sweetens up the body care aisle with manuka honey

Kiwi Botanicals, a Procter & Gamble line that uses products rooted in the ethos of New Zealand skin care, is offering a sweet new collection consumer are sure to enjoy.

The new kiwi sulfate-free shower collection with manuka honey consists of four products that contain ingredients that have been sustainably sourced, the company said.

Known for its antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes, kiwi botanicals’ manuka honey is sustainably harvested by the principle Maori tribe of the South Island of New Zealand and manufactured in a facility with fair work standards.

Other ingredients found in the brand’s products include chamomile to soothe skin and charcoal to help provide a gentle detox, the company said.

Products part of the collection include:

  • Shower Gels, which free of sulfates, available in three formulas — nourishing containing manuka honey; soothing featuring chamomile and manuka honey; and purifying containing charcoal and manuka honey;
  • Hand and Body Lotions, which aim to replenish dry skin and is available in two formulas — nourishing with manuka honey, and soothing with chamomile and manuka honey;
  • Body Conditioners, which aim to help rinse away stressed and dry skin in the shower, and also come in the nourishing and soothing formulas; and
  • Body Butters, which is a rich moisturizer that aims to relieve skin, and comes in nourishing and soothing options.

In addition, items found in the brand’s portfolio are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicones, triclosan, formaldehyde, propylene glycol, and gluten, and also are certified PETA Cruelty-Free.

All of Kiwi Botanicals’ products can be found at Walmart and retail for $8 or less.
