La Roche-Posay adds moisturizer formulated for oily, sensitive skin
La Roche-Posay’s Double Repair Moisturizer line is expanding with a brand new product designed specifically for oily and sensitive skin.
The new Toleriane Double Repair Matte Face Moisturizer is a lightweight gel moisturizer formulated with dermatologist-recommended ingredients, including ceramide-3 to help retain moisture and maintain a healthy skin barrier, and niacinamide to help skin feel soothed.

Two other key ingredients found in the product help absorb excess oil and reduce visible shine:
- Silica, which is a type of powder with a spherical-bead shape, provides a silky feel and soft-focus effect; and
- Perlite, a powder derived from volcanic rock, absorbs water or oil and is known to provide a matte finish on skin.
Designed to deliver a dual-action that helps restore the skin barrier after one hour and provide all-day hydration without the shine, the moisturizer also works to minimize the size of visible pores, improve skin texture and aid in reducing fine lines, the company said.
Other ingredients in the moisturizer include glycerin, a blend of minerals, trace elements, a high concentration of selenium and the brand’s prebiotic thermal water that helps skin feel soothed.

Made without the use of oil, parabens, fragrances or drying alcohol, the moisturizer is non-comedogenic, dermatologist tested for safety, sensitive skin tested and allergy tested, the brand said.
