Unilever’s Love Beauty and Planet line is going full steam ahead with its sustainability efforts by creating a line of hair care products that come in aluminum and refillable packaging.

Available in the volume and bounty variety, which contains coconut water and mimosa flower, the line was formulated to give both strength and body to fine hair.

Another option available in the refillable bottle concept is the blooming color line. Created with murumuru butter and rose, the collection was formulated to bring vibrancy to color-treated hair.

Made with natural and ethically-sourced ingredients, products in the line are safe for colored hair and are certified cruelty-free. They are also vegan and free of such harsh chemicals as phthalates, sulfate cleansers, silicones, parabens and dyes, the company said.

“Since our launch in 2018, we’ve been on a journey to help make you and the planet cleaner, greener and more beautiful. As a brand that means taking strong steps in our business and setting big audacious ambitions, while celebrating and championing all the small actions anyone can take for a more sustainable future,” saidSonika Malhotra, co-founder and global brand director at Love Beauty and Planet. “We’re focused on making thoughtfully crafted beauty accessible to everyone, but we know there is a lot more work to do. We’re proud to continue driving benevolent innovation within our portfolio, championing Unilever’s climate commitments and pushing ourselves to go further where we can.”

Both collection’s reusable bottles come in a 16-oz. size that retails for $9.99. The shampoo and conditioner refills come in a 32.2-fl.-oz. size that retail for $14.99 and can be found in store and online at Target.
