MasqueBar launches sheet masks benefiting Australian wildlife rescue efforts

Although the COVID-19 pandemic is still going on, MasqueBar wants to draw focus to Australia’s wildfires, which were some of the worst the country has seen.

The country saw millions of acres scorched, many lives were lost, and people were displaced — as were nearly three billion animals, the company said.

As a way to help the country’s animals, MasqueBar is launching two new masks to its Pretty Animalz collection, which will donate proceeds to Australia’s largest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation charity — Wires.

Both the new kangaroo and koala sheet masks are serum-infused character print sheet masks that have been enriched with extracts that not only hydrate the face but also provide some serious moisture.

The kangaroo mask is infused with caviar, honeysuckle and grapefruit extracts; while the koala sheet mask contains soybean, mushroom and witch hazel extracts.

“We watched the events unfold in Australia in horror.  My entire team was devastated with what was happening so we all came together and developed two new masks in our Pretty Animalz collection with the sole purpose of giving back,” MasqueBar owner, founder and CEO, Allan Lever said.

Formulated without sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, silicone, petrolatum and phthalates, the masks are Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty-free, the company said.

Consumers can currently find MasqueBar’s Pretty Animalz masks online at masquebar.com and at Target stores nationwide for the retail price of $3.99.
