Neutrogena prioritizes scalp health
A key ingredient found in the collection is Natrasurf, which is a mild surfactant that was developed specifically by the scientists at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, and allows for the scalp to be cleansed daily without damage to the strands that are often associated with frequent washing, the company said.
“We know 78% of consumers believe haircare is just as important as skincare,” Hanan Wajih, senior marketing director North America, Vogue International said. “The team at Vogue, in partnership with Neutrogena, has been working on this line for two years to bring coveted skincare ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Micellar water, and tea tree oil to scalp and haircare – ultimately delivering healthy scalp and haircare gentle enough for everyday use.”
Products found in the collection include:
- Hydro Boost with Hyaluronic Acid, which was formulated for dry scalp and hair. It is a shampoo and conditioner duo that looks to boost dry scalp’s hydration levels, as well as moisturize dry and damaged hair to keep strands healthy and hydrated;
- Clarify and Shine with Pink Grapefruit, which looks to clarify and exfoliate oily scalp and hair in order to reveal shiny and healthy-looking strands;
- Gentle and Soft with Micellar Water, which is for those with sensitive scalps. The formula aims to gently cleanse the scalp and strands without stripping moisture; and
- Soothe and Calm with Tea Tree Oil, which is for dry scalp discomfort. It looks to relieve scalp discomfort and hydrate the scalp for healthy hair.
Consumers can find Neutrogena’s Healthy Scalp collection at digital and physical Walmart stores across the nation through December. Full North America retail distribution will begin January 2021.
