Of these, 60% aren’t discussing possible interactions with their physician or pharmacist, Aisle7 noted.

  • Braun officially unveils CoolTec electric shaver

    CINCINNATI — Braun, a member of the Procter & Gamble Beauty and Grooming family of brands, has introduced its latest shaving innovation, the CoolTec electric shaver.

    While most electric shavers allow heat to build up uncomfortably in the shaver head, CoolTec was engineered with an aluminium cooling bar that continuously removes heat from the shaver head. The shaver’s design elements ensure a noticeable reduction in the signs of dry shaving irritation, including burning, itching, redness, skin tension and warmth, the company stated.

  • Holiday Wheat Thins to hit store shelves nationwide

    EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Nabisco's Wheat Thins Holiday will hit store shelves nationwide this week.

    The limited-edition snack has the same 100% toasted whole grain, but will feature festive imprints — a snowflake, gingerbread man, bell and candy cane — that will provide additional holiday cheer.

    The suggested retail price is $3.69 for a 8.5-oz. box.
     

  • New drug for hot flashes becomes available nationwide

    NEW YORK — Noven Pharmaceuticals has launched a new drug for severe hot flashes nationwide, the company said.

    The drug maker announced the availability of Brisdelle (paroxetine) capsules in the 7.5-mg strength, the first-ever non-hormonal drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration for moderate to severe hot flashes associated with menopause.
