  • New Fiber One cereal hits grocery shelves

    MINNEAPOLIS — Fiber One wants to help consumers stick to their New Year's goals with the introduction of a new cereal, the company said.

    Fiber One launched Fiber One Protein, a granola cereal that's available in two flavors — Maple Brown Sugar and Cranberry Almond. Each serving of Fiber One Protein delivers 10g of protein when served with milk, as well as 20% of daily value of fiber.

  • Snyder's of Hanover adds new corn snack

    HANOVER, Pa. — Snyder's of Hanover is adding Korn Krunchers, a new line of baked and seasoned corn snacks, to its lineup of products. The snack is offered in three flavors: Korn Krunchers Barbeque, Korn Krunchers Nacho Grande and Korn Krunchers Hot Chili Lime.

    SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Kaz last week launched the Vicks Moisture Map, an online tool to help families understand how too little humidity can create issues for the body, pets and the home.

    The interactive map pinpoints the top 10 driest cities across the country by synthesizing weather data and geographical data from several sources.

  • ScriptCycle expands solutions for retail pharmacies

    ASHEVILLE, N.C. — ScriptCycle, a technology company that serves pharmacies and patients, will launch its comprehensive cash solutions for retail pharmacies at the NACDS Regional Conference in February. The products aim to help pharmacies address challenges related to their cash prescription business, the company said.

    ScriptCycle said its business model has produced average per-store savings of $7,000 to $12,000 per year.

    NEW YORK — New York City Economic Development Corporation and Health 2.0 last week announced the launch of the second annual Pilot Health Tech NYC, a program designed to dramatically increase innovation and collaboration within New York City’s health technology sector. Pilot Health Tech NYC helps pilot and advance new health technologies by partnering early-stage companies with key New York City healthcare service organizations and stakeholders - including hospitals, physician clinics, pharmaceutical companies, nursing associations, large employers and retailers.  

  • Coty signs fragrance partnership with musical artist Enrique Iglesias

    NEW YORK— Coty has partnered with singer and songwriter Enrique Iglesias to develop his own line of signature fragrances.

    The first fragrance is expected to be released in the summer of 2014.
