  • Kerr Health shifts to single platform for data analytics

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Kerr Drug subsidiary has integrated its specialty pharmacy and long-term care data into BioMed Intelligence's data warehouse solution, BMI said.

    The moves streamlines Kerr Health's information into a single platform for data analytics across multiple locations and lines of business.

    "BMI has been a valuable partner to Kerr Health," Kerr Health president Mike Brown said. "Their innovative reporting suite and advanced industry knowledge positions them well to partner with us on our data integration initiatives."

  • Philips Avent goes 'natural' with new bottle

    STAMFORD, Conn. — Philips Avent has expanded its bottle portfolio to include a new product that is designed to replicate natural feeding.

    With its wide, breast-shaped nipple and unique comfort petals, the Philips Avent Natural bottle is inspired by mom's shape to allow infants to feed more naturally. The bottle encourages natural latch-on and makes it easier to combine bottle and breast-feeding, and also features an advanced anti-colic system with two high performance valves that help to reduce colic by venting air into the bottle, not the baby's stomach.

  • Cascade Ice brings beverages to more stores

    LOS ANGELES — Unique Beverage Co. has expanded the availability of its Cascade Ice zero-calorie water beverage line.

    The Cascade Ice portfolio — which includes zero-calorie sparkling water, organic zero-calorie sparkling water and sparkling cocktail mixers — now is available for purchase at Albertson's, A&P, Safeway and more. The beverages also are slated to be available Winn-Dixie stores in the coming months.

  • Mscripts releases multilingual functionality for its prescription management app

    SAN FRANCISCO — Pharmacy customers who use the Mscripts application to order, refill and manage their prescriptions now can do so in English or Spanish, the company announced Wednesday. They also can receive reminders to take their medications, making it easier to remain adherent to prescribed medication regimes.

    Mscripts supports the mobile offerings of large pharmacy chains across the country.

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bolthouse Farms has introduced new additions to its beverage lineup.

    Bolthouse Farms has launched orange and carrot blend, which offers 300% more vitamin A than traditional orange juice; Protein Plus blended coffee, which offers a spin on the traditional coffee drink by providing consumers with a boost of protein and key B vitamins; and two new breakfast replacement drinks: Strawberry parfait breakfast smoothie and peach parfait breakfast smoothie.
