Olay’s Fearless Artist Series collection caters to diverse skin types, addresses concerns

Olay is debuting a new collection of body washes that caters to diverse skin types and concerns.

Designed to also increase representation and visibility of products designed for women of color, the Fearless Artist Series collection features artwork designed by African American artist Avery Williamson.

Made with formulas that have been crafted by a diverse team of women, the line is part of the brand’s commitment to elevating stories of women of color in STEAM, and increasing representation and visibility of products designed for women of color, the company said.

“I’m excited to be a part of Olay Body’s Fearless Artist Series collection. As an artist, it’s thrilling to put forth art into the world and to complement a physical experience with a visual expression,” Avery Williamson said. “As a Black artist, I celebrate and explore the narratives of Black women, and I’m incredibly proud to bring this expression to a greater audience with my designs for this series.”

The three body washes part of the collection includes:

• Nourishes for Glowing Skin, containing cocoa butter and manuka honey, was formulated to leave skin looking glowing and radiant;
• Restores Soft Silky Skin, formulated with aloe and notes of chamomile, the body wash leaves skin feeling soft and smooth; and
• Balances and Evens Skin, made with vitamin C and notes of apple cider vinegar, hydrates to balance skin.
