HDA recognizes pharmaceutical and consumer product manufacturers with DIANA honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The newly rebranded Healthcare Distribution Alliance on Tuesday recognized outstanding pharmaceutical and consumer product manufacturers with the annual Distribution Management Awards for Notable Achievements in Healthcare (DIANA).

Since 1959 the DIANA awards have honored HDA-member manufacturers that develop innovative new product introductions and promotions for the healthcare distribution industry. Recipients also are recognized for fostering exceptional trading partner relationships with HDA distribution members, advancing trade relations and creating business practices that benefit the entire healthcare supply chain.
Two companies also were recognized as HDA Manufacturer Partners of the Year. This category honors HDA manufacturer members for their active participation in the association. Winners have at least five consecutive years of membership, regularly participate in HDA conferences and serve on committees, as well as support the organization through further event attendance and sponsorships.

The HDA Manufacturer Partner of the Year Awards went to Teva Pharmaceuticals USA and Bracco Diagnostics;
Best New Product Introduction or Promotion Awards were awarded to Bristol-Myers Squibb Company US Medicines Group for Empliciti, Allergan USA for Viberzi, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries for Imatinib Mesylate Tablets, Allergan USA for Refresh Optive Gel Drops and Reckitt Benckiser for Amopé PediPerfect; and
Best Overall Manufacturer Awards went to Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Lannett Company, Amneal Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson.
