Overtone’s botanical-infused hair mask targets fine strands

Overtone is dropping a new hair mask that’s set to change the game for those with fine strands.

The Denver-based company released its new The Remedy for Fine Hair Colorless Hair Mask, which looks to add hydration without weighing hair down.

Containing a color-safe, curl-friendly and nourishing formula that is both vegan and cruelty-free, the mask can be applied to hair when it is looking dull, dry or just needs a little extra love, the company said.

It can be used as often as desired and also to dilute any Overtone coloring conditioners to create a custom color.

"Last year, we released the original formula for The Remedy and received an immense amount of positive feedback on how shiny and silky-soft the mask made hair of all types look and feel. But we didn't stop listening there," Maegan Scarlett, the co-founder of Overtone Haircare, said. "Our community was asking for a lighter option, something that would be just as effective on fine strands but without sacrificing volume. We heard them loud and clear," she added.

In addition, The Remedy for Fine Hair is formulated with aloe vera, argan oil, sunflower seed oil and Crambe abyssinica seed oil.

Regular use of the product, which retails for $27 on the company’s website, can result in better moisture retention and less breakage, the brand said.
