Walmart, Sam’s Club, Publix, and Hy-Vee were among the retailers who announced that customers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can shop without a mask in its stores.

All Publix Pharmacy locations across seven states are accepting walk-in customers for the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as those with scheduled appointments.

Through its Feeding More Together program, Publix raised more than $10 million for local food banks.

Publix increased sales in the first quarter but its growth moderated compared to the early pandemic-fueled surges of last year. 

Publix’s pharmacy locations in Alabama, North Carolina and Tennessee will accept walk-ins and continue to offer scheduled appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Publix has once again begun to offer the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at participating pharmacy locations.

Residents in Alabama, North Carolina and Tennessee are now eligible for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at select Publix Pharmacy locations.
