The retailer is undertaking efforts to reduce managerial layers and consolidate roles that it said would result in the elimination of 400 full-time roles — roughly 20% of the corporate positions at its headquarters and in its field operations.

Currently, GNC operates 2,200 store-within-a-store locations inside Rite Aid stores nationwide, including within its Wellness format.
