Both CVS Health and Rite Aid on Monday highlighted the availability of flu shots nationwide as part of the week of awareness, which began in 2005.

The Rite Aid Foundation is pitching in to help those affected by the Camp, Woolsey and Hill wildfires in California.

Rite Aid announced that Lisa Followay, executive director of the Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio, or ASPO, has been awarded its Kidchamp Award, which recognizes individuals for their unwavering efforts in helping provide athletes with disabilities the opportunity to compete in competitive and recreational sports.

Through Dec. 7, Rite Aid pharmacies will be offering Medicare-eligible patients free resources to help them select the best prescription drug plan or update existing coverage for the coming year.
