Schick Hydro Silk’s latest ads put a spin on beauty influencer culture

Schick Hydro Silk is looking to bring in the laughs with its latest collection of television commercials.

The brand’s first since its 2017 “Topiary” ads, the new “The Smooth Shave We All Deserve” videos add a twist to influence culture. Beauty influencers Nicoletta XO and Jessie B make appearances by drawing attention to the lengths women go through to deal with beauty and grooming challenges.

A solution to the ongoing beauty concerns are the brand’s line of hypoallergenic razors, which aim to prevent razor burn and minimize the time needed for life-hacks when it comes to shaving, while also empowering women to never settle for good enough, the company said.

Razors in the brand’s portfolio that are formulated with shea butter and five curve-sensing blades to help reduce irritation include the refillable razor, which also comes in sensitive care; the Trimstyle, which has a razor on one end a waterproof bikini trimmer on the other; and the shower hanging refills, which come in waterproof packaging to protect blades.
