Schmidt’s reformulates its natural deodorants

Schmidt’s is revamping its natural deodorant formula.

The line's recently announced reformulation includes a reduced amount of baking soda and an increased amount of magnesium, which also is a key ingredient in its sensitive skin line.

The company noted that the revamped formula will maintain the products' odor-fighting capabilities, offering 24-hour odor protection and a formulation that glides gently onto the skin.

Scents available in these reformulations include charcoal and magnesium, rose and vanilla, bergamot and lime, and lavender and sage.

The brand also has been certified as the first and only natural deodorant in the United States by Ecocert, a leader in natural product certification, due to its natural origin ingredients, the company said.

Currently, the revamped Schmidt’s deodorants are available in a 3.25-oz. size that retails for $8.99 and a 2.65-oz. size for $6.99 online at Schmidts.com and mass retailers.
