Clean fragrance company Skylar is embarking on a new venture designed to help consumers feel beautiful, confident and safe in their skin.
The brand recently partnered with Amazon on a collection of fragrances inspired by the streaming company’s coming-of-age series, “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”
Three limited edition rollerballs are part of the line, which evokes the feeling of summer that brings consumers to the world of Cousins Beach.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty series offers a nostalgic escape to summer moments similar to the sensory experience of our fragrances. We created the sweetness of Boardwalk Delight to relive the memories of our youth, and Salt Air evokes feelings of serenity the same that flood your senses any time you’re within a mile of the ocean,” said Skylar’s marketing vice president, Sara Miranda. “If you’re dreaming of the warm sun, epic coastline, and sweet, zesty citrus fruits – that’s the epitome of Capri Summer. We’re delighted to offer fans this tangible connection to the series they adore, celebrating the magic of summer and the power of fragrance.”
Featuring fragrances Salt Air, Boardwalk Delight and Capri Summer, the scents feature branding inspired by the series and aim to capture the coastal magic of sweet memories, endless smiles and breezy days under the sun, the company said.
“Skylar has done a phenomenal job of capturing the scents of summer. Each fragrance in the collection is inspired by The Summer I Turned Pretty and evokes a different aspect of Cousins Beach, from saltwater air to coastal breezes and long strolls on the boardwalk,” said Jamie Kampel, head of licensing and merchandising at Amazon Studios. “The fragrances are a great extension of The Summer I Turned Pretty brand and are sure to delight our biggest fans.”
