Snickers adds pecans to limited-edition bar

There’s a new Snickers bar in town.

After asking fans to rally behind the nut they would like to see most in the brand’s latest innovation, the Hackettstown, N.J.-based company announced that a decision has been made.

The new limited-edition Snickers Pecan Bar features the caramel and milk chocolate of the classic candy bar, as well as a filling of pecans, the company said.

"We were eager to involve our fans in developing our newest flavor innovation," Josh Olken, the brand director on Snickers. "It turned out that fans from Texas and across the south are nuts about pecans and wanted to taste America's native nut in our iconic candy bar. We hope our fans are as excited to try the limited-edition Snickers Pecan Bar as we are proud to produce them right in our Waco plant."

For those who can’t wait to get their hands on a bar, Snickers is releasing a limited number of curated boxes containing 15 Snickers Pecan Bars on the company’s website.
